1971
Elie Assouline created CAFPI in 1971, convinced that everyone should have the right to become a home-owner, with the idea of making Mortgages simpler and more accessible.
Since then, a minor revolution has occurred in the field: banks and property professionals have been won over by the pioneering spirit and enthusiasm shown by Elie Assouline, who was joined by his brother, Maurice Assouline, in 1975.
1985
Right in the middle of the property boom, the company takes a new turning. Financing experts join the Assouline brothers. Three new branches are set up in PARIS, CHAMPIGNY and NICE.
The business model functions with a network of branches in all the major economic centres of France.
1999
While new operators turn to mortgage brokering over the Internet, CAFPI creates
www.votrepret.com,
«Votre Pret.com»,a website helping the public at large to calculate their loans using the expertise of France's leading broker, 24 hours a day.
At the same time, CAFPI develops service platforms – tax optimisation – for investors, property developers and IFA's in order to finance specifically for buy-to-let investment properties.
2005
30% of French people are unable to own their own home, and so CAFPI aims to broaden the conditions necessary for obtaining loans through a personalised analysis of customer repayment abilities.
This had led to a new service being created
www.creditpourtous.fr,
«CREDIT POUR TOUS», financing borrowers traditionally left behind, and to restructuring debts.
2007
CAFPI enjoys increased profits, surging over 30% in 2006, and launches its first TV and radio advertising campaign, on the theme of:
“The Dream Home”, to consolidate its image as a major player in the French property market.
The CAFPI network is now present across France and its overseas territories. Its local presence and its proven expertise make CAFPI more than ever the
leader of a profession it invented.
